搖滾影展2008

 

導演Grant Gee跟著Radiohead一同上路，途經巴塞隆納、Glastonbury音樂節、紐約、倫敦、巴黎、柏林、斯德哥爾摩、東京、名古屋、福岡…等總計一百多場表演，但這絕對不是只將攝影機對準台上的那種平舖直述的舞台紀錄片，導演以近乎實驗的手法，剪接大量光與影：旅途、街頭、訪問，甚至以一種監視攝影機的角度窺視著Radiohead，呈現了整個樂團的焦慮、不安與未知。幾個精采鏡頭更揭示了何以在OK Computer之後Radiohead會創作出如Kid A、Hail To The Thief等隱含大量低壓迷幻的電氣聲響。譬如在Scott Walker的On Your Own Again歌聲下，一紙寫著：i am not here and this is not happening。

 

Thom Yorke宣稱這部94分鐘的影片正是給那些羨幕Radiohead這種巔峰狀態的生活方式的年輕樂團，他說：「別想了。」

 

因此，別想了，快來看這部撼動搖滾神經的搖滾紀錄片(rockumentary)，只要你屬於下面幾種人之一：

 

1.      重度Radiohead愛好者

2.      重度Radiohead厭惡者

3.      非敘事電影愛好者

4.      搖滾紀錄片愛好者

5.      英文很好或英文很不好想練聽力者(因為沒字幕)

If you have been rejected many times in your life, then one more rejection isn’t going to make much difference. If you’re rejected, don’t automatically assume it’s your fault.
